space and significance - 25 june - 7 july 2010

in june, georges house gallery in folkestone, will host the work of artists who have been working to create sound and visual work that translates sites of significance into the space of the gallery. artists will sonically and visually map their chosen space, develop their responses and then re-present these investigations for others to experience. currently sites in glasgow, london and folkestone are being identified. sound artists will also work to create a collaborative piece that grafts these spaces onto each other.
