FLEETING BIRD
Vincent Lloyd | Garden Wall Installation
(Folkestone West train station, on the London-bound side of the track)
Traveling southbound to Folkestone by train, shortly before arriving at Folkestone West station, you might look out of the window, (to your right, if you are facing forward), and see, on the end wall of a bungalow, the image of a bird. If you continue to observe the bird as the train moves past, you might witness the image of the bird fleetingly become the image of the absence of a bird?
Conversely, if traveling northbound, away from Folkestone, you might witness the appearance of a colourful bird replacing the representation of the absence of a bird?
