the DIY fringe is now open for interventionist ideas to be considered for inclusion in the folkestone fringe programme which will run alongside the 2011 folkestone triennial.

whether you're a visual artist, a performer, an architect, a writer,
a live art practioner, or a collective, if you are producing work that can engage with folkestone and you’re keen to get out there and do it yourself, get in touch with us to help realise your idea.

the folkestone fringe is interested in developing opportunities for collaborative work that utilises public and unconventional spaces for contemporary art practice. our aim is to present multiform interventions that illuminate a site's inherent qualities to both an expectant and unexpectant audience.

we are always happy to talk about your proposals with a view to providing a supportive role. we want to document and publicise the work of artists that are keen to get out there under their own volition and make work for the public realm. contact us here to tell us what you might be thinking about doing.

we are not, at this point, in a position to help with funding. artists are strongly advised to have public liability insurance in place, view here to find out more.
