Join London-based artist and activist Katy Baird for a very personal story looking at the ups and downs of what it means to serve you the great British public.
Drawing on her own experiences at the frontline of the customer service industry, Bairds show is about work. Some people work to make money, some people work to feel fulfilled and some people dont work at all. Baird creates solo performances that are intimate, topical and autobiographical, reflecting on class, gender and sexuality. She has performed across the UK, and often finds herself in uncomfortable situations of her own making.
Some people work to make money. Some people work to feel fulfilled. Some people don't work at all. For the last two decades, Katy has been at the frontline of the customer service industry. From getting you high to supersizing your whopper meal she has done everything she can to make you happy.
