following my seaside moderne and poster moderne exhibitions i have
been keen to explore a broader visual vocabulary and the triennial was a fantastic catalyst by which to do this.

the triennial project has created so much buzz in the arts community
and new stimuli across the backdrop of folkestone that i wanted to
capture my personal reaction to individual pieces as well as
translate a sense of the significance of the event. this process drew me to some more eclectic local subjects which has led to an evolution in my illustrative style, now incorporating elements of photo montage.
