lady lucy and kayle brandon have been collaborating together for the past 2 years on a social drawing platform called the drawing exchange. the drawing exchange invites individuals of all ages and abilities to partake in an event that centres around the drawing process. each drawing exchange has a subject and a set of exercises. the exercises frame the subject and experiment playfully with approaches to drawing. at the end of every exchange participants are invited to swap the drawings created. the artists like situations were the amateur and expert, the drawer and the drawn, the traditional drawing class and a night out down the pub merge and lose their distinction.

for the leas lift event the artists invite all ages to join them in a series of drawing exercises that focus on the lift and the surrounding area, from the flora and fauna of the lift route, to the seascape. this will be a chance to spend time with the historic place, observing and playing with its details and forms via pencil and paper.
