A Sapphic Summer by the Sea is a split-level exhibition at The Coterie Cafe & Bar.
Upstairs, you’ll find A Sapphic Love Story of beautiful florals. Whilst downstairs, you’ll be taken on an unfolding of unconscious waters, ebbing and flowing, back and forth, revealing and concealing, pushing and pulling.
Adele is a UK-based photographic artist originally from the North of England, now living in Folkestone, Kent. Adele’s work examines how society, influence and power interact with identity, authenticity and a sense of belonging. In her most recent work, she explores the sapphic gaze and what lies beneath the surface of the conscious mind.
