Poets’ Corner - Dave Horn, Faith Warn and Anthony White – foster poetry in the Folkestone community. At their OpenArtFolke25 open mic in the Old High Street, outside Steep Street café, everyone is invited to listen and welcome to take a turn at the microphone.
Share your own work or a favourite poet and add a line to a community window poem. Newcomers encouraged, along with all ages and languages. Poetry books available. Do stop by or take a café seat and join us!
Poets’ Corner holds monthly poetry open mic evenings and last year ran a successful twelve-hour, record-breaking Poetathon to celebrate National Poetry Day. They always aim to encourage new poetic voices and bring people together through shared ideas and emotions.
