The opposite of an anti-meme, MAMA is meant to be shared widely and go viral to overtake what it is openly replicating: its evil twin, MAGA.
The acronym stands for Make All Meaningful Again. Following the Situationists' artistic method of detournement, it is a mirroring back of the international Far-right. More than a subvertisement, the concept is an attempt at and encouragement for putting ‘progressive populism’, a term coined by philosopher, critical theorist and feminist Nancy Fraser, into (artistic) practice.
MAMA likes to headline her very own Trump L'ol rallies, which can include but are never limited to pamphlets, photo ops, adapted Trump speeches, trolling stations, microchips and a soundscape made by the artist.
