‘Musings’ is a solo exhibition by rising contemporary artist Katherine Devon. Centred on the female form, her work explores themes of psychology, identity and human connection with emotional intensity and raw vulnerability.
Featuring delicate watercolours and tonal pencil studies, the artist invites viewers into a deeply personal world shaped by memory, introspection and transformation. Viewers are welcome at Docker Brewery and Taproom for this two-week exhibition. Preview party on 29th of August.
Born in Canada and raised in Northern Ireland, Katherine holds a Foundation certificate in Art and Design and a BA (Hons) in Fine and Applied Art, specialising in metal-smithing. Now working primarily in watercolour and pencil, her work explores the female form, psychology and human connection. With experience teaching in secondary and primary education, her practise is informed by both lived experience and observation, creating reflections on identity and vulnerability.
